Will's got a hell of a voice but honestly checking out Lorna Shore after all the hype musically they felt pretty generic. Being around a long time doesn't automatically make them great.

sorry, but for me this band called Spiritbox is a ridiculous and completely overrated average music band! They sound like a certain kind of metal, they are only "known" to me for one reason besides extreme social media feeding, pushing on Tikitoki, Instagram, UA-cam etc... Just because they have a female singer and stand out as a front woman... The quality is also debatable, in my opinion also too much on a, no, raised to the pedestal to number 1 as the best singer in metal by fans who have no idea about certain mechanisms, techniques vocally, musically, what works with instruments, voice and much more! Then there is the media and the internet, and quickly, especially in the USA, this connection catapults something not so high quality to almost a certain world top in just a few weeks! But this network of all players also destroys an artist - band just as quickly if it has to! I have seen Spiritbox at least 3 times now, heard them as a support act and once on their tour! And all these times I found this band so boring, almost bad, partly because they are not real musicians - artists who master their instruments and craft far better than average, perfectly like the really big names in the scene! No, they are first and foremost computer music software artists and sound music developers! Whenever there were "technical problems with their computer and data" the four of them were completely screwed on stage because they couldn't really play the sound themselves live on stage with their instruments and their voices! 90% of it came from a data stick, everything was produced in the studio.... They only do a certain accompanying "show" on stage on bass, guitar and sometimes you can clearly see with the drums that things come out of the speakers that the drummer didn't actually play like that on stage! For me, this totally overrated band called Spiritbox is a phenomenon in the new metal genre era that needs its own category of music - metal that is and is mainly generated on computer sounds, plus improved and sounded too perfect, etc.! For me, that's so computer metal! These are not long-haired, sweaty musicians who play with their hands and their heart and soul in their craft - heavy metal! Greetings from 🇨🇭🤘🏼

80s, 90s, alot of nu metal in the 2000s, wasn't considered metal by many ppl. This shit been going on for decades. 80s hair metal was HATED by the thrash metal heads in the 80s.

Honestly, I never really cared about genres and I’m not good at distinguishing them. I think metal as a genre is evolving and we shouldn’t try to constrain it and make all metal music fit into a certain box. At the end of the day who cares what genre a song actually belongs to when you can just enjoy the music

There's meant to be at least 25% local content on the commercial radio (between 6 am and midnight, value across a week). Not sure how well they achieve that now, but they have failed in the past. Our government funded national radio station Triple J does a lot better, like 60% Aussie music. It's more focused on younger listeners and alternative music. Less heavy stuff than I'd like and there is very much a Triple J sound, but it's leagues ahead of commercial stations

my connection to this song is only the similarity of struggle,, i'm undiagnosed autistic and have struggled with being a bit weird my whole life i had to start my own business because i had problems holding a job with sleep disorders and high ethics.. but managed to stay in business the last 40 years without needing to advertise or even carry a card, i run a lawn and tree service, a 1st responder thru 40 years of hurricanes in fla ,and do all phases of construction and kind of an inventor on the side, after six years of development i figured out a disaster response product that could help millions worldwide .. then my insurance agent forgot to post a payment back in 2020 and the state took everything i worked the last 40 years for away .. stuck at home like a prisoner i came online and saw people helping others so i started making videos explaining what i was. trying to do to get help, and found out if the platform your uploading to doesn't promote you your just talking to your phone, and then i see stuff like this and get jealous because i will never write a song that gets peoples attn like this. so my chances of bringing my ideas to the world are fading. and it's scary as hell to think of all that could be, but it may all be lost because one person forgot to hit enter on there keyboard.. and my chances of succeeding alone are close to those of getting out of quicksand alone..
